This is my first outpainting with Dall-e. I started around 11 pm last night and finished around 4 am. Since it was my first attempt, I forgot some tips while doing it. It will be easier to work by saving and resizing the image from time to time. Since I didn't do that, I sometimes got lost in details when trying to find what I wanted. For example, I only worked on Darth Vader's costume for more than half an hour. It was a painful process, lol.
Among the details of the work, the thing that surprised me the most was the hydraulic robot arm. Because I just wanted a hand holding a beer, and making it a hydraulic one was quite creative. Apart from that, I would like to mention a few negative aspects of the experience. First of all, I could not see 1 of the 4 options it gave most of the time. It could also be due to the internet, but I didn't have such a problem. The worst part for me was not being able to add the finished version of outpainting to my collection. Instead, every generation created with outpainting is also saved in the collection. But for some reason, I didn't like it that much. I currently have dozens of meaningless images in my collection. It would be great if there was a separate tab for this in the collection.
It was super fun and surprising anyway. Dall-e still continues to amaze me. 💜
